ACT

Dashboard coverage: Official suburb-level criminal-offence data is imported for complete calendar years through 2024.
Data provenance and coverage
The dashboard uses or references crime data published by Australian government police and crime-statistics agencies. Jurisdictions use different offence definitions, geographic boundaries, reporting periods, and revision processes, so their figures are not always directly comparable.
Government agencies may revise their published data without notice. This dashboard is informational only and is not an authoritative source of truth, personal safety assessment, legal advice, or substitute for the original publications.
Use the links below to confirm current figures, definitions, limitations, and reporting periods directly with the publishing agency.
ACT
Dashboard coverage: Official suburb-level criminal-offence data is imported for complete calendar years through 2024.
NSW
Dashboard coverage: Official monthly recorded criminal incidents by suburb are imported through 2025.
NT
Dashboard coverage: Official state-level year-ending workbook totals are imported through April 2026. Published NT statistics do not provide every suburb as comparable rows, so NT is excluded from the combined suburb leaderboard.
QLD
Dashboard coverage: QPS Crime Locations suburb-boundary offence records are imported for 2025. Official state and police-division offence data is also imported separately. Police divisions are not equivalent to suburbs and are excluded from the combined suburb leaderboard.
Queensland Police maps and statistics
SA
Dashboard coverage: Official SAPOL suburb and postcode offence data is imported for complete calendar years through 2025. Coverage is limited to SAPOL's published suburb-located person and property offence scope, so it is not described as all offences.
TAS
Dashboard coverage: Official statewide annual supplement totals are imported for 2023-24 and 2024-25. Tasmania is not included in suburb rankings because the official annual crime statistics supplement is statewide. District and division figures appear in performance reporting, but that report is not presented as the official crime-statistics source.
VIC
Dashboard coverage: Official suburb and town criminal-incident data is imported through 2025.
WA
Dashboard coverage: Official state, region, and district data is imported. The downloadable WA Police workbook does not publish suburb rows, so WA district rankings are labelled separately and excluded from the combined suburb leaderboard.
